That little tab that you use to open your soda makes a BIG difference at Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Memphis.
Collect Pop Tabs at home, work, school, church or in your community organization, then drop the tabs off at Ronald McDonald House® and we'll be happy to recycle them for you. If you live out of town, you may also recycle the tabs yourself and donate the proceeds to the House.
In 2010, Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Memphis received more than $14,000 from Pop Tabs alone. Tabs are donated from individuals, schools, clubs and businesses
The average weekly amount brought in by Pop Tabs is $250.

Pop-Tab-Palooza
Each fall, Ronald McDonald House of Memphis asks the community to “pull together” by collecting pull tabs off of soda cans, pet food, canned vegetables etc. and collects them at our annual Pop-Tab-Palooza.
The pop-tabs are recycled in order to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House. Collectors should deliver their pop-tabs during this time to be weighed and the top donors are awarded across a variety of categories. There are awards for the most pop-tabs per grade level, age group, and the individual with the most pop-tabs. The local business, organization, or group that donates the most is also awarded. The Pop-Tab-Palooza promotes more community-minded children, supports children and families in need, and helps the environment at the same time.
