Individual giving is the cornerstone of Ronald McDonald House®. Many of our individual donors have been touched by Ronald McDonald House Charities® in some way, and they help make our mission possible. No matter the size, the cumulative impact of their gifts is profound.
Without the generosity of individuals, Ronald McDonald House® would not be able to function at no cost to our families.
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Memphis is fortunate to have numerous opportunities for individuals to contribute to our mission. They include cash donations, multi-year pledges through our Hearts for the Future Society, in-kind donations, planned giving, and our Pop Tab Program.
Charitable gifts may also be funded with assets such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds that have increased in value. Not only will you receive regular tax savings, but also you may avoid the capital gains tax that would be due if you had sold the assets.
This extra tax benefit is one reason why a growing number of people choose to make donations using property other than cash.
