Special Event Volunteers assist at various fundraisers and other events that are sponsored by or that benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities^® of Memphis (RMHC of Memphis). These Volunteers are the public face of RMHC of Memphis, and must be a positive representation of “The House That Love Built” to the community. Special Event volunteers help to make each event a success by promoting the mission of the House in the community and by helping us to raise much-needed donations. Volunteers must be resourceful, positive and able to handle a variety of tasks involved with hosting our fundraising events.

 

Most events take place on the evenings and weekends and include such events as the Rock 103 – Ronald McDonald House Radiothon, the Big Scoop Ice Cream Festival, and Oscar Night^® America.
