Kids Helping Kids
There are many ways kids can help the families of Ronald McDonald House Charities ® of Memphis (RMHC of Memphis). Students have joined in everything from collecting Pop Tabs, supplies for the House and Holiday gifts for the children, to bake sales in order to raise money. We believe in the importance of reaching out and helping those less fortunate than themselves and kids can easily understand how their contributions translate to real help when they see the direct impact of their giving.
If you would like to get involved here are some easy ways to help:
Be creative!! Organize art projects for kids staying at RMHC of Memphis (for more information on Hosting an Activity click HERE - remember you must be 14-years-old or older!)
Come and help prepare a home-cooked meal for the families (for more information on Serving a Meal click HERE)
Drop off your spare change in a Ronald McDonald House Charities ® collection canister at your local participating McDonald’s (Ronald McDonald House Charities ® raises $17.5 million a year from people putting their pennies, nickels and dimes in the canisters at McDonald’s restaurants)
Collect Pop Tabs to be recycled or help your school get involved in Pop Tab collection
Donate your favorite games for ‘game night’ at Ronald McDonald House.
